Population Fund
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) was established in 1969 with the general purpose of improving sexual and reproductive health through innovative solutions to wide-spread issues. The robust continuation of future generations is highly dependent on the UNFPA since it aims to ensure the safety of childbirth around the globe. In times of crisis such as the 1981 AIDS outbreak, the UNFPA displayed its effectiveness by successfully proposing solutions to patch the problem in hand. To this day, the UNFPA continues to work in cooperation with various high profile institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to respond to health-related issues.
